This study was conducted to determine effects of quality of purple guinea grass (Panicum maximum TD 58) and forage sorghum (Sorghum bicolor) at second cut on dry matter intake, milk production, liveweigh change, metabolic profiles and economic return in dairy cows. Using twelve multiparous cows. Two groups (six cows in each groups) of GT=75 percent Holstein Freesian dairy cows were imposed by Group comparison. Group 1 were fed fresh purple guinea grass. While in group 2, cows were fed fresh forage sorghum, All the cows were also supplemented with concentrate (18.33 percent CP, 70 percent TDN) twice daily at milking (i.e. at 05.00 am. and 02.00 pm.). The effects of organic acid (double-coated calcium butyrate base supplement) on performance and carcass traits of broiler chickens were assessed in three groups (PC, NC1 and NC2). The organic acid was added in three phases of feeding (1-21d, 22-35d, 36-42d) in PC, NC1 (PC deduction 40 kcal ME/kg and both methionine and lysine 1.5%) and NC2 (PC deduction 60 kcal ME/kg and both methionine and lysine 2.2%). Organic acid was added in PC with three period dosages 750-500-500 ppm and in both NC1 and NC2 1000-750-750 ppm. Addition organic acid in three controls (PC, NC1, NC2) showed similar performance of body weight gain, survival rate, feed conversion ratio and productive index, except for early starter period (1-21d of age). Comparison of eri silkworm rearing by using different major food plants, different lines of kesseru(Heteropanaxfragrans); Thai and Indian lines, and cassava Rayong 72 was conducted. The results showed that eri silkworm fed with kesseru leaves and cassava leaves has similar life cycles, 57-73 days and 53-73 days, respectively. Using Indian kesseru, larval (1-5 instar) and adult survival rates were 100%. Cocoon yield obtained from feeding with Rayong 72 was significantly higher (P<0.05) than feeding with both 2 lines of kesseru. However, average yields of fresh cocoon, pupa weight, %cocoon shell, total shell weight and fresh cocoon weight/10,000 larvae derived from cassava feeding were 2.2312 g, 1.9029 g, 14.37%, 9.52 g, and 22.31 kg, respectively, and...
